Holds a BSc degree in Animal and Environmental Biology and an MSc degree in Environmental Quality Management (Pollution Studies and Ecotoxicology) from the University of Benin, Nigeria where he graduated with a First-class and Distinction respectively. He is currently a Lecturer at the same University but currently undertaking a PhD degree in Environmental Biology (Cardiotoxicity) at the University of Manchester under the PTDF studentship.
He has keen interest in Ecotoxicology, Ecophysiology, and Cardiac toxicology, techniques which he can actively bring to bear in Environmental Impact Assessment and Auditing. He is hoping to develop a cardio-toxicology protocol and tool that will be useful in Environmental Post Impact Assessment especially in cases of aquatic oil spill, reason why he was sponsored to undertake this research.
He currently holds a NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operation Safety. He is also a member of various professional bodies including, Nigeria Environmental Society (NES), Physiological Society, Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), Society of Toxicology (SOT) and Nigeria Society of Experimental Biology (NISEB).
