Holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of Greenwich, UK.

In 2014, he designed and deployed a pilot sensor technology product to monitor and report flooding events in flood prone areas in Kent, South East region of England. The project was funded by the Department of Flood and Risk Management, Kent County Council.

Perkins is a Coordinator for the ‘Primary Health Care’ project in the South West region of Nigeria, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He is an experienced Communications and User Experience professional and has managed projects for international funders such as United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Department for International Development (DFID), UK, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
